All Natural Gas Resources

Gaseous hydrocarbon resources, mainly methane, including conventional natural gas, the shale gas held in tight rock, coalbed methane found in coal seams and the propane that is separated from gas and oil. A source belongs here when its cited article describes a natural gas or a gas associated with oil and coal. It excludes crude oil and solid coal, which have their own groups, and it is kept separate because these fuels are burned as gas and moved by pipeline or tank.
