Hydroelectric Dams of Asia and Africa

Large dams on Asian and African rivers that produce hydroelectric power, such as the Three Gorges Dam and Xiluodu Dam in China and the Aswan High Dam on the Nile. A facility belongs here when its cited article places a hydroelectric dam in Asia or Africa. It excludes dams in the Americas, which have their own groups, and pumped storage stations, which are filed as storage facilities. The group records where each dam stands, not how it is built.
