Energy Carrier

Also Known As Secondary Energy Source
Systems Concept

A form of energy that must be manufactured from a primary source before it can be used: electricity and hydrogen are the two great examples. A carrier is only as clean, and only as plentiful, as whatever made it, which is why the same hydrogen molecule can be a climate solution or a detour depending on the electricity or gas behind it.
