Energy Projects

Groups named, large-scale energy development undertakings: the planned or completed initiatives to build, expand or transform energy infrastructure or capacity, such as a specific dam-building program, a national grid interconnection project, a nuclear plant construction program, or a major renewable-energy buildout, considered as the initiative itself (its scope, timeline, funding and stakeholders) rather than as a single finished facility. Belongs here: a specific, named energy development project or initiative, whether historical, completed or ongoing. Does not belong here: an individual operating power plant, dam or grid facility considered simply as a place (Power Stations and Infrastructure), a general category of energy source such as solar or coal (Energy Sources), the underlying technologies used (Technologies), and the agencies and organizations that sponsor projects (Agencies and Organizations).
