Kai Harri Hietarinta, born 1932, is a Finnish businessman who spent his career at Neste, Finland's state-owned oil company, joining in 1960 and rising to executive vice president in the 1970s under company president Uolevi Raade. His work put him at the center of Finland's international trade policy, including the country's oil imports from the Soviet Union, which by 1983 had made Finland the Soviet Union's largest Western oil-importing customer.
