Robin Jeffrey

Robin Campbell Jeffrey, 19 February 1939 to 4 November 2018, was a Scottish engineer and businessman who spent his career in the United Kingdom's nuclear power industry. He served as project manager for Torness Nuclear Power Station from 1980 to 1988, completing it on time and to budget, then became chief executive of Scottish Nuclear from 1992 to 1995 before rising to chairman and chief executive of British Energy from June 2001 to November 2002. He held a doctorate from Pembroke College, Cambridge, and later served as a visiting professor at the University of Strathclyde.
