The three renewable sources that turn natural flows of sunlight, wind and water into power without burning fuel, namely solar power, wind power and hydropower. A source belongs here when its cited article describes harnessing one of these flows to generate electricity or mechanical work. It excludes biomass and geothermal sources, which have their own groups, and it is kept separate because these flows are tied to weather and geography and cannot be stored in the fuel itself.
