Futtsu Power Station is a natural gas fired power station on Tokyo Bay in Futtsu, Chiba Prefecture, Japan, operated by JERA. Its combined cycle units give the plant a nameplate capacity of about 5,040 megawatts, making it the fourth largest gas fired power station in the world. The station is built around four groups of units of differing combined cycle generations, the newest of which use high temperature combustion turbines for higher efficiency.
