Bogdan Cvete Maglich, written Maglić in Serbian, was a Serbian-American experimental nuclear physicist, born on 5 August 1928 and died on 25 November 2017. He was the leading advocate of a purported non-radioactive aneutronic fusion energy source and built four models of Migma, devices that produce fusion of deuterium atoms in colliding ion beams. He is named as the designer of the Migma colliding beam fusion reactor proposed in 1969, research that continued through the 1970s and early 1980s before lack of funding precluded further development.
