Metal Hydride Fuel Cell

Electrochemical Converter

A metal hydride fuel cell is a subclass of alkaline fuel cell that has been researched, developed and successfully scaled up in operating systems. Its notable feature is the ability to chemically bond and store hydrogen within the fuel cell itself, using a metal hydride as the hydrogen-storage medium rather than supplying hydrogen gas from an external tank the way most other fuel cell types do.
